When you step inside the doors of this magical place you will be amazed to see some of the most exquisite gems and minerals mined right here in southern Arizona. The Wizard's Workshop is the place where these magnificent creations of nature are lovingly sculpted and personally crafted into treasured pieces of jewelry.

Since 1971, Don and Kathy Paonessa have assembled one of the largest privately owned collections of rare, museum quality, Bisbee Arizona Copper minerals including Turquoise, Malachite, Azurite, Cambellite and a fine selection of quality Slaughter Mountain Fire Agate.

TURQUOISE: The beautiful gift from the earth with colors variegated like the early morning skies of blue. AZURITE: Known as the "stone of heaven" and understandably so with its deep luxuriousness in shades of blue.

MALACHITE: With its prismatic crystals in magnificent hues of green only nature could paint to dramatically. FIRE AGATE: Alive with the brilliant colors of fire and captured in the only registered precious gemstone mined in Arizona.

All these and more are what await you inside the Wizard's Workshop.

Stop by and meet Don Paonessa, prospector, miner, stone cutter (lapidary), silver and goldsmith and his wife Kathy Paonessa who is also an accomplished silver and goldsmith. Browse their huge inventory of mineral specimens, sterling silver and 14kt gold rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, belt buckles, and much, much more.

Each piece of jewelry comes with a numbered, registered and signed certificate of quality.
